8th Annual Northern California International Health Conference
Date: Saturday, April 8, 2006
Venue: ARC Pavillion & Wellman Hall, UC Davis
The first International Health Conference took place in 1999 as an outgrowth of the Bay Area International Health Interest Group (IHIG). IHIG meets six times per year, and faculty, students, residents, and practitioners share their experiences in international health at these meetings. Sponsorship of the conference had rotated among UCSF, UC Berkeley and Stanford University. In 2006 UC Davis entered the fold as a host institution, and the name was changed from the Bay Area International Health Conference to the Northern California International Health Conference.
